Two parades this weekend!

Clermont Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 5^th

Line up time: 12 noon

Staging for all participants: Lake Minneola Boat Ramp

930 W. Minneola Ave 34711 or google Lake Minneola Boat Ramp

Drop off: Near Historic Village Bend

Osceola Street heading west bound to drop off Twirlers. Drop off by 12noon. No driving in the staging area. Be prepared to walk your twirler to our designated area.

Parade Route:

Minneola Ave go west to 11^th Street to Montrose Street to Lake Street returning to boat ramp. Approximately 1.4 miles

Pick up: Same as drop off

Please pick up immediately. Not when the parade is over. We must get to the Tavares parade.

Attire: Parade costume, parade earrings, parade tights, & baton shoes 

Hair:  in a bun (costume bow on right of bun)

Parents: If you ordered a group T-shirt please wear it to show group support.

Shirts will be handed out this week.

During or after the parade please do not take your twirler from the parade route. We have a safe way of dismissing. Do not take any others twirlers from dismissal unless it is prearranged with our office.

Tavares Christmas Parade

Downtown Tavares/Round Court House

Saturday, December 5^th

Line up: 4:00pm

Tri-City Dance Twirlers #22

Traffic will be very heavy in the staging area. Please be on time. Look for all of the beautiful pink costumes.

Drop off: Participants must enter staging area from Sinclair Avenue only.

Free parking is available in the parking garage on Sinclair/Main Street.

Parade Route:

East on Ruby Street to St. Clair Abrams Avenue, turn left onto Main Street, travel west on Main Street to Sinclair Avenue.

Pick up: Same location as drop off

Tri-City will pick up at our starting location. Please meet us at the pick up location after our group passes. NOT when the parade is over. Please do not snatch your child from the parade route we have a safe way of dismissing our twirlers. Do not take other twirlers from dismissal unless it’s arranged in advance through our office. Take your child only.

Attire: Same as parade above

Tavares Area Classes:

(Tavares Elem, Treadway, Astatula, Studio Classes)

Arrival time for twirlers 10:00am

Show starts at 10:30am

Door Fee: $7 (pay at the door (twirlers exempt)) 

Clermont Area Classes:

(Lost Lake, Imagine, Cypress Ridge, Waterfront)

Arrival time for twirlers 12:30 pm

Show starts at 1:00 pm

Door Fee: $7 (pay at the door (twirlers exempt)) 

NEWS

Shoes: Everyone should have ordered their baton shoes by now. If you are not sure how to take care of this please e-mail our office. Twirlers must have tan baton shoes to participate in our events.

Practice: Please make sure your twirler is practicing at home. We can't wait to see what all of the twirlers have learned at the parades and holiday show!

Sept. Post 1

This baton year is already off to a great start. We loved seeing all of the exciting faces the first week of practice!!

Cookie Dough Fundraiser: This is a reminder the Cookie Dough fundraiser  is due no later than this Thursday, September 17th (if you participated). This was an optional FR given at registration. You earn $5 per item sold. You are welcome to turn it in at your practice weekly location or our studio. Please make sure all money collected is correct and all checks made payable to: TCDT or Tri-City Dance Twirlers. If you did not sell enough items to cover the parade costume, we will need the difference no later than Friday the 18th.

Costume package: $100.00

One costume all year!  This includes costume, group earrings, and group tights

Directions to pay online- Go to Products page, scroll to the bottom where it says "More products coming soon", in the left box put a 1 in the right box put the amount you are paying, and hit submit. At that time it will take you to the CC information page.

Monthly dues: Remember monthly dues should be paid by the 10th of every month to avoid a late fee. You are welcome to pay your monthly dues through the website (using the same directions as above), pay at your weekly practice, or bring the payment by our studio.
