Yes, TWO Parades in ONE Day!!!

This Saturday Dec. 1st

 NEW TAVARES PARADE INFORMATION IS BELOW IN RED

Female twirlers: Costume, bloomers, tights, and earrings will be worn by everyone! Please make sure your child has all of the above items so she can march in the parades.

A little bit of blush and red lipstick is all they need. We want to make sure they look uniform, but not too grown up.  No extra jewelry, nail polish, temporary tattoos, or socks

Male twirlers: Black pants, green shirts, black shoes with black socks

Pre-K and first time Kindergarten twirlers must ride on our float for safety reasons.

Please make sure you meet us after we pass you on the parade route. Do NOT pick up twirlers when the parade is over. During dismissal, please pay close attention to the directions. Do not take your child until we have dismissed them. No parent is allowed to take someone else’s child. Thank you for understanding.

No parents can walk in or along side the parade. We have a parade committee that will take care of your children and make sure they are safe. Please wear your new shirts to show group support.

Line up: 11:30 am

Lake Minneola Boat Ramp    930 W. Minneola Ave     Clermont, FL 34711

Drop off AND Pick up:

  Lake Minneola Boat Ram(located off of Minneola Avenue)

  Parents will not be permitted to drive into the staging area

  Plan to park and escort your twirler to our line up

  

Please note: This parade ends where we start

Make sure you pick up your twirler on time because we have to get the float to Tavares for the NIGHT TIME PARADE!

City of Tavares Night Time Light-Up Parade

ALL TWIRLERS WILL RECEIVE GLOW PRODUCTS FOR THEIR BATONS!!

Line up: 4:30 p.m.

Line up on Main Street in Tavares.

*Please note new staging area-all units will stage on:

                Sinclair Ave/Ruby Street property (see attached map).

                Staff will be on hand to direct you to your line-up number.

Parade Route:

East on Ruby Street to St. Clair Abrams Avenue, turn left onto Main Street,travel west on Main Street to Sinclair Avenue.

Pick up:

          The Parade will end at the new round about at Sinclair and Main. Make sure you do NOT pick up when the parade is over. Please meet us at the end when we arrive.

Join us on Main Street after the parade for “Ice Skating, “Snow” Storm, live entertainment, horse-drawn wagon rides, food, games, craft village, and much more!
